Veronica Johnson is a soccer player who trains 4-5 times a week plus extra fitness hours. Naturally, being an athlete and putting so much strain on her body without regular treatment put her at a higher risk of getting injured. Just from the constant strain on her muscles, she came in to the clinic seeking help for a strained hip flexor in November of 2011. After just one visit, she felt much better and has been coming in ever since to reduce the risk of serious injury. Minor injuries have occurred as expected but have been quickly treated and have healed quickly, never keeping her away from the game she loves.
The past year has been a tidal wave of accomplishments for Ronnie, with a second place finish at the 2012 All-Star National Championships in Nova Scotia with the U16 Team Ontario and then numerous wins with the U16 Burlington Tornados. Her club team, the Burlington Tornados won all their games in the 2012 summer season going on to win the U16 OYSL (Ontario Youth Soccer League) along with the U16 Ontario Cup and the 2012 Club National Championships in Prince Edward Island. She had a huge impact at the National Championships and was scouted and identified as a potential National Team player. She is now training with the National Training Center in Vaughan four times a week and is still coming in for regular treatment at Nottinghill Family Wellness Center for Chiropractic adjustments and Glen Abbey Physiotherapy for treatment. Great job Veronica!
