Stephen Nero is a registered Physiotherapist and has been working as a Physio with more than 25 years of experience working mainly in the health care private sector. Stephen has helped treat and heal everyday people from varsity athletes to Toronto Raptors players. He has also had job opportunities at different facilities such as the University of Toronto Sports Medicine Clinic and the Core Health Clinic, owned and operated by Donavan Bailey, a facility that serviced high end and national level athletes.
Through his journey as a Physiotherapist, Stephen has had the opportunity to work with, learn from and grow in his profession from some of the best Sports Medicine Doctors and Orthopedic surgeons in the country. Stephen’s philosophy is firmly grounded in the belief of early intervention, accurate diagnosis, goal orientated, progressive exercise programs, manual therapy, prevention, client participation and patient education. He also does training programs for those wishing to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist Stephen played professional basketball for 6 seasons in Europe. His professional basketball experience enlightened him in both cultural and educational ways. Away from the clinical setting Stephen is an active Rep basketball coach winning a provincial title in 2011. Basketball is one of his passions as well as baseball. Stephen is also an avid golfer and plays whenever he can get a chance. He is also the father of a most excellent daughter!

Registered Massage Therapist
As a natural extension of her interest in sports and rehabilitation, Silvia has chosen Massage Therapy as her career path in the field of health care. After graduating with Honours from Trillium College in Burlington she became registered with College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
She looks forward to applying her knowledge to help others in achieving and maintaining an optimal state of health and fitness.
In her massage therapy training she participated in outreach programs that included: Oakville hospital, neuro clinic where she treated clients with Multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s as well as local sport tournaments such as judo, hockey, and weight lifting.
She is trained in Swedish massage including advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue work, pregnancy massage, myofascial techniques and joint play.
Silvia believes that massage therapy is preventive and restorative tool that is especially effective in management of pain, acute and chronic conditions and the reduction of stress.
